SARASOTA, FL – The law firm of Icard, Merrill, Cullis, Timm, Furen, and Ginsburg, P.A., is pleased to announce that N. Macaire King, attorney with The Firm, has advanced to Member status in the Firm. Her demonstrated leadership, willingness to take on greater responsibility, and independence over the past year has positioned her as a pillar of the Firm.
In addition, she was recognized in the 2026 Edition of The Best Lawyers in America Ones to Watch. Only 5% of lawyers are recognized, and only 2% of early career lawyers are nominated to Ones to Watch. Macaire practices primarily in the areas of land use, land use litigation, and real estate. She has experience representing developers, landowners, and others on issues such as rezoning, special exceptions, variances, comprehensive plan amendments, right-of-way vacations, Live Local Act development and a variety of other land-use related matters. Macaire often represents her clients in proceedings before local governing boards and commissions across Florida. She also assists clients in both residential and commercial real estate transactions.
Outside of her legal practice, Macaire is committed to serving her community through her involvement in various local community groups and non-profits. She currently serves as a member of the Government Issues Committee for the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce as well as a member of the Issues Committee for the Argus Foundation with a particular focus on the City of Sarasota and Sarasota County. Additionally, she is involved in the Sarasota-Manatee chapter of the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network.
